How do I get a Municipal Lien Certificate (MLC)?
Municipal Lien Certificates can be requested in person or by mail. The fee is $25.00 per parcel, with checks payable to Town of Bernardston. Please provide the property address as well as the assessed owner(s) name(s), the map/lot/parcel numbers, and the book & page, if you have them. Please indicate whether the MLC is for a refinance or a sale. A self addressed stamped return envelope is much appreciated.
